The mouths of babes
I have a beautiful (almost) 4 year old son. I work in his daycare part-time. Today, an 8 year old boy, with blond hair and blue eyes, very seriously looked at my son, and said “I’m going to call you Charlie Brown, because you’re brown.” He said it in all innocence. I couldn’t help but laugh! My son’s normally toffee colored skin has been bronzed by the South Florida sun. He now has the skin color most people wish for! Oh, to be young again!

Yes, kids are too cute, they do say the darnest things, but that’s okay, they remain innocent for such a short time, until people (society) take them to the “other side” and teach them prejudice, angry.
Then those little boys who were so innocent grow into nasty men. Men who are not worthy, are loud, irresponsible and jealous. Men who are not really men, because they don’t know what it is to be a man. Being a man is being a provider, caregiver, supporter. Yes, alot of men nowadays are not working, but they are still providers, caregiver and supporter. Not taking without giving. Let us teach our little boys to be strong responsible men.
