The Society Magazine

I’ve been away. Again. I’m a horrible friend. I’m the friend that disappears and drops off the face of the Earth, only to reappear as if nothing ever happened. And you will welcome me back with open arms, because you love me and understand the dynamics of our friendship. You understand that at times it is more than difficult for me to do two things at once, even when I desperately try.

On that note, I will tell you this. Besides taking a little break for the holiday season to spend with my family, these past two weeks have been spent freaking out over the launch of The Society Magazine. Do you remember me speaking about Samantha House, a very good friend of mine? She has been working on this wonderful new lifestyle magazine that will be available online. It is Boston and NYC based and will cover varying topics from fashion and beauty to culture and dining.

Aaaand….Drumroll please……

She’s asked me to be Managing Editor. How amazing is that?

So besides being extremely, unbelievably wonderfully ecstatic about the upcoming launch, I’ve been rather frazzled. But I promise that we will be back to our regularly scheduled programming after January 22, 2013. You can expect more shoe stalking, how to wears and crazy conversations with my son and various other family members.
